Smyrna, Georgia Veterans Day on 11/11/2009

Smyrna, Georgia's Veterans Day on Wednesday, 11 November, 2009 was a big hit with approximately 320 in attendance in spite of the bad weather.

This event was sponsored by the Smyrna Rotary Club, American Legion and the City of Smyrna, Georgia. Events included a presentation of the colors by the Campbell HS ROTC Color Guard, Campbell HS Band, the Belmont Hills Elementary School Honors Chorus, invocations and presentations by the American Legion and Veterans Memorial Association of Smyrna, citizens' testimonies and two distinguished guest speakers - Chuck Clay and Larry Odom.
